Valerie Saryan is a member of the Tauler Smith LLP legal team who represents businesses and consumers in commercial litigation, with a focus on breach of contract, unfair competition, business disputes, and intellectual property law. She also practices transactional law, with experience representing entertainment production companies and film producers, talent agencies, modeling agencies, digital media companies, charitable foundations, and start-ups.
Ms. Saryan’s litigation experience is extensive, ranging from employment class actions to special education law.
Ms. Saryan grew up in Boston before eventually moving to California for law school. While attending law school, she gained experience in the fashion industry by working in the buying department for a major clothing retailer.

Ms. Saryan received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Tufts University in 2007. She obtained her juris doctorate from Whittier Law School in 2013, having received multiple awards for her high performance in litigation and entertainment law.
Ms. Saryan is admitted to practice law in the state of California. She is also licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court, as well as in both the Central and Southern Districts of California. Ms. Saryan is a member of the Armenian Bar Association.
